” This collection offers an invitation to step into moments of leisure, the desire to escape, feel lost in wonder, curiosity, and splendure.  The Umbrella's iconic notable shape alone transports us all uniquely to a memory or feeling.  Umbrellas are beautiful and delightful to look at and on the other hand also they are a shield, a covering, and a shelter of protection. That deeper symbolism in the umbrella in combination of the decorative stylized dream offers a personal perception that I hope reaches you through the work.  While creating these paintings they were very thoughtfully carefully planned and sketched. The color palette combination was a place of spontaneous expression and where I experienced a lot of joy in the making process."
